Last night was awesome... My son and his 2nd grade class put on a musical/play called Stone Soup. In a nut shell, 4 soldiers come to a small town... and their hungry. Really hungry. But becasue of poor economic conditions (totally in tune with current events!) the towns folk can't give any food. So Captain William (first from left) decides to make Stone Soup with the help from Private Hunter (second from left), Private Carson (third from left), and my son Private James (you guessed it, the tall one on the end!). This video is the first of many... We have a decent camera, just not a super huge memory card. So the play is broken up into songs. Yes Mom, a DVD is on its way, promise ;)

My wife was the set and costume director. She put in many hours along with other parents. I must say it was a geat payoff for the many weeks of preparation. The kids were wonderful... and they really loved it.
