As a hobby, I love photography but I find myself frustrated. I hate to have my picture taken. Ilook old and tired and looking at myself in a picture just reminds me of how much time has past and how little there is left. Iknow, totally "glass half empty". Also, my feelings toward this have started to make me think too much about why I am doing it in the first place. I like to learn and I like the science/art behind photograhy. But unless I am being paid for it is it worth the time? If noone sees it is it worth the trouble... Iused to play drums, all the time... I stopped cause there was no one listening. I think people who say "I do it cause I love it" are kind of full of it. We do things cause something motivates us... other people motivate us. The praise or reaction from others is what keeps us going. There is nothing I do on a day to day basis that isn't made 100 times better becasue it helped or interested someone else.
